What is newborn photography? Is it a baby in a basket? A wee little one suspended in the air resting in a hammock? It can be, but what message do these images send? Cute. Wow! How did they do that?!?! Images such as these are darling, but do they show the true emotion of the newborn? Do they showcase the relationship between mom and baby? Not to me. Which is why, if you choose me as your photographer, you might get a few of the “cutesy” images, but not until I’ve captured the essence of the newborn relationship.
